Congrats Card - 5 Minute Card using Simply Sweet Cricut Cartridge

Hello everybody!  This is what I call a "cheater" card - it looks better than the time you took to make it.  You can make it in 5 minutes if you have a piece of cute patterned paper, coordinating cardstock, ribbon and either Cricut wording (I used the same color as the background cardstock for the shadow feature and cream for the wording) or a stamped sentiment on an oval or circle-scalloped edge punch.  Voila!  You can send a congratulatory card to a friend the same day you hear the good news!

This card is 5x7" for the teal cardstock (10x7" folded in half) and 4.5" x 6.5" for the patterned paper.  I tend to buy the patterned paper in 12x12" stacks whenever they go on sale at Jo-Ann's or Michael's, or just use their coupons for 40% off.  This one is by DCWV Flower Spring Stack and half of the paper is glittery - I just love a little glitter!  Well, I just love paper!  LOL!

You can't see it, but this paper is very glittery and gives the card a nice textured finish.  This is what makes the card look nice even though it was so easy to make!

Thanks for looking!  :~)
