Hi Everyone! We are back from our trip to Lake Don Pedro and we had a blast on our houseboat. Everyone got along: 6 young boys, one baby girl and 8 adults. The lake was nearly empty from Monday - Thursday and the water was warm and ripple free (which is the only way I get up on a wake board :~) My two younger sons, ages 9 and 7 along with their 6 year old cousin all learned to wake board on this trip! Yeah! Nice to be home in my own bed, though!
Now, on to my card! I am creating a card for my mother-in-law's 60th birthday next week. I used the Makin' the Grade cartridge from Cricut, light pink paper by Bazzill, dark pink paper by Core'dinations, flowered patterned paper from Heidi Grace, flowers by Prima from Michael's, brads by Bazzill. The measurements are 6" x 4 1/2" for the outer most pink Bazzill paper, 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"" patterned paper and 4 3/4" x 4" for the inside
To make the Happy Birthday paper, I took Core'dinations paper and ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Happy Birthday folder and then sanded it until the white inner part of the paper showed through. I took a corner rounder to all the top edges and edged the outside in a dusty pink Colorbox Chalk. The ribbon is a leftover piece I had. I glued a strip of the Happy Birthday sanded paper inside of the card.
