Halloween Scrapbook Page using Cricut & Glossy Accents

Hi Everyone!

Today I made a double scrapbook page for Halloween using Halloween patterned paper I bought in single sheets from Michaels.  I have a plastic file folder for all my Halloween papers.  I took a plastic paper holder that is made for 12" papers and is 1/2" deep.  It has a nice lid which slides down over the top (there's a photo below - I wish I could remember where I bought it!).  It's old so I have to find more like it for Christmas or camping themed papers.  It's so nice to pull all the papers I need from one spot!

I added Glossy Accents by Inkssentials over the bat and spider web.

I used the October 31 Cricut cartridge on this one for the spider web, bats and the wicked witch.  On one of the sheets of Halloween-themed patterned paper I cut out the Happy Halloween and Trick or Treat wording, mounted it on another patterned paper with orange, green and purple squares and then tied a bow on one end.  I then tucked the other end under the moon, gluing one at the top of the page and the other at the bottom of the other page.

This is the folder I use for all my Halloween patterned papers.

I also took our big popcorn bowl and used it as a template to cut out a moon.  I cut the moon in half and glued black mesh over the top of it.  To glue it down, I sprayed the mesh (outside - it stinks!) with Super 77 by 3M which is a great product for this type of job.

Each photo is mounted on one of the background colors:  orange, purple or lime green for some unity.  Thanks for looking!
