I am having a very fun "vacation" so far. It's nice not to have to get 3 kids up, fed, dressed and out the door for school.
I have 3 birthdays coming up and I made one for my nephew who's turning 8, and 2 for my girlfriends who are turning 29 (again ;~) LOL!!
I bought some sparkly paper online from Fresh Paint Glitter Pack for the candy center swirl and the cupcake top. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye Flirty and My Mind's Eye Home. Papertrey Ink made the Raspberry Fizz ribbon and the puffball pink ribbon is from Making Memories. The stamped sentiments are from My Pink Stamper. I took a 1/2 inch strip of the polka dot paper and folded it accordion-style to make the strip that runs under Pinka-licious which this gal definitely is!
Here's the folded polka dot paper. I used the red tape from Magic Scraps that's super sticky to hold it down.
I added the sentiment on a separate piece of paper I cut out and colored with Colorbox warm red chalk.
I ran a little black Color Box ink around the sides, eyes and nose of the skeleton head.
I used pop dots under the wording and the skull. I need the black ones instead of the white pop dots!
Thanks for looking!,
