Joy Christmas Card using Cricut's Create A Critter! And Stampin' Up's Nice & Narrow Christmas Tree Card

Hi Everyone!

This weekend has been full of playdates & basketball and planning our Thanksgiving menu - I picked up a ham when HoneyBaked was empty on Friday and ordered my turkey through a small store nearby which I pick up fresh tomorrow.  I hope it's good!

We wanted the kids to finish watching all the Harry Potter movies before we see the 7th one this week and so while we watched I played with my Gypsy - heeheehee.  My Gypsy seems to have a glitch or two and I don't know if anyone else has problems now and then but mine will turn the designs all different colors if I mess with them too much.  I also can't select a design now and then, it just ignores my stylus.  Weird!

Anyhow, I welded the word JOY with the cute little reindeer (I only welded the Shadow layer of the reindeer) on the Create a Critter cartridge.  I was going to make a card that folds in half from the top to the bottom but it would have been too large for my 12x12 mat.  So I cut a 6x12" piece of red card stock and folded it in half, glued a white piece of 5.5" x 5.5" paper on top and then added Mr. Reindeer Joy.  They are both popped up with pop-dots.

I added rhinestones from Michael's and did a little highlighting with Sakura's white gel pen - my fav!!
Here are a couple of cards using Stampin' Up's Nice and Narrow set.  Just very simple and modern looking.  I also used My Pink Stamper's Christmas stamps for the sentiment and Copic Markers to color it in.

A little Hemp Cord from Joann's, a button and sentiment stamp from My Pink Stamper's Christmas set

Stampin' Up's Nice & Narrow tree, Copic colors and Sakura's white gel pen.

Pink ornament trim the tree with magenta bow and My Pink Stamper sentiment.

I used the clear Copic marker to take off some color of the ornaments since I didn't have a light enough magenta.
Thanks for looking!
Lisa  :~)
