Flowery Thank You card using Heidi Grace paper

Hey there!,

First I want to say "Thank You" to for all the nice comments I've received on my posts.  It's wonderful to see such kind words for my projects - I really appreciate all the sweet things you say!

And so I did a Thank You card using the cutest, most feminine paper pad by Heidi Grace.  It's called Specialty Paper Pad and has 48 pages with all these little tiny flowers, some fairies on clouds, mushrooms and all with glitter.  I just love it!  The small scale of the pattern is nice for cards - it seems like most of the 12x12" patterned paper is scaled very large and once you cut it down to a card, you lose most of the pattern.  This is especially true when you layer it behind a plain paper for a border.

I have 4 layers of paper.  The front page was cut in half, so that the flowers are showing and then I used the upper half of the paper for the 3rd layer and it has the lilac polka-dots.  The 2nd layer is pink and the card is white - all from Bazzill.
This is a Close to My Heart sentiment set chipboard.  I punched out a 3/4" circle of pink paper and glued it to the front of a white flower.  The ribbon is from Stampin' Up - it's 1 1/4" wide and I was afraid it would be too wide for cards, but it is very soft and you can make a tight knot and a small bow.
I added a little dragonfly embellishment.

Have a great Saturday!  I am jealous of all the people at the CHA convention today. I bet they are having so much fun!!
