I went back and made a "kit" I bought a long time ago at a shop near us. It had 3 white cutouts and 2 pink cutouts for the bunny and one orange and one yellow piece for the chick. They also included the "Springtime" wording in green and green grass.
This was fun to put together. I did forget, tho, why I don't really like working with chalks. Since all the papers were plain, I edged all the pieces with chalk. Placing the dark green edged letters on the 2" strip of white paper proved challenging - think green chalky fingers. I guess I could have sprayed with a fixative or hair spray but I didn't and got green chalk on the white paper. I chose to use little yellow daisies I had as the dots over the "i"s.
Thank goodness they gave us a little sample we could copy from otherwise I probably couldn't make the faces look like that. The background paper was some that I had already and is made by K&Company, Amy Butler, Sola 12x12" pad. I think the little ovals look like Easter eggs! Hope you like it!
Have a great day!
